Build on Panbiota.

Connect an AI assistant or agent to Panbiota's intelligence today. A keyed API for software is in development.

AI access point Live

Connect your AI in one step.

Panbiota's access point speaks the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard AI assistants and agents use to connect to tools. It is open: no sign-in and no key.

https://panbiota.ai/mcp

In any client that supports remote MCP servers, add a server with this address. In a configuration file:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "panbiota": { "type": "http", "url": "https://panbiota.ai/mcp" }
  }
}

Or call it directly over HTTP, with JSON-RPC:

curl https://panbiota.ai/mcp \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/call",
       "params":{"name":"get_reading","arguments":{"id":"uk-power"}}}'
Tools

Four read-only tools.

list_instruments

The instruments an AI can read, what each one reads and the fields it serves. Give a field to narrow the list.

get_reading

One instrument's latest reading: headline, key figures and the time it was read, with today's dated note and its credit.

read_field

Every instrument serving one field, such as energy-grid, cybersecurity or care, in a single call.

todays_brief

Today's dated note from every instrument: the day across Panbiota in plain words.

What it serves

  • 43 instruments across 31 fields, whose sources allow reuse with credit
  • The latest reading of each, with the time it was read
  • Today's dated note for each
  • The instrument's page and its credit, with every answer

Limits and terms

  • Read-only; 300 requests a minute per address
  • Answers come from Panbiota's latest readings, never from the sources directly
  • Each source's credit travels with its figures: see sources and licences
  • Exchange prices, odds and options are not served; access to them is agreed in writing

Intelligence, not advice. The decisions are yours.

API platform In development

The Panbiota API.

Secure, paid access for AI agents and software. It sells answers: specific, sourced and checkable. The engine, the relationships, the history and the discovery behind them stay private to Panbiota.

Accounts and API keys

Sign up and get keys without talking to us.

In development

Pay per use

Pay for the answers you use, with prepaid credits and spending limits you set.

In development

Answers with their evidence

Each answer with its sources, its time and the checks behind it.

In development

Controls

Audit logs, usage controls and isolation between customers.

In development

Verification and calculation

Panbiota's exact checking and calculation as services, released after a test on structured inputs.

In development

We sell the answer; we retain the intelligence. You pay for specific answers, never for unrestricted access to Panbiota's datasets, algorithms or relationship networks. See an example →

How access is protected In development

Answers, under control.

Customers buy answers, not unrestricted access to the intelligence behind them. Paid access is being built with these controls:

Minimum necessary disclosure

Each answer carries what the question needs, and its evidence, and nothing more.

Authentication and permissions

Keys with permissions set per customer and per capability.

Rate limits and quotas

Commercial quotas alongside technical limits.

Extraction detection

Systematic attempts to rebuild the underlying intelligence from answers are watched for and stopped.

No bulk export

Answers are licensed for use, not for bulk export or redistribution.

Commercial licensing

Terms that set out what may be done with each answer.

The open access point already works this way at its scale: read-only, rate-limited, the latest readings only, with no history export.

Questions

Asked and answered.

How do I connect my AI assistant to Panbiota?

Add a remote MCP server with the address https://panbiota.ai/mcp in any client that supports remote MCP servers. No sign-in or key is needed. The server offers four read-only tools: list_instruments, get_reading, read_field and todays_brief.

Is there a Panbiota MCP server?

Yes. Panbiota's MCP server is at https://panbiota.ai/mcp, over streamable HTTP. It is open and read-only, and serves the latest readings and daily notes of 43 live instruments, each answer with its credit.

What does the Panbiota MCP server return?

For each instrument: its headline, key figures and the time it was read, today's dated note, its page and the credit its source requires. It does not serve exchange prices, odds or options, whose access is agreed in writing.

Is there a Panbiota API with keys?

Not yet. Secure, paid access for AI agents and software, with accounts, keys, pay per use, spending limits, audit logs and isolation between customers, is in development. Ask for early access through the contact page.

What are the limits of the access point?

It is read-only, allows 300 requests a minute per address, and answers from Panbiota's latest readings rather than calling the sources directly. Each source's credit must travel with its figures.

How is Panbiota's intelligence protected from bulk extraction?

Paid access is being built with minimum necessary disclosure, authenticated keys with permissions, rate limits and commercial quotas, detection of systematic extraction, no bulk export or redistribution, and commercial licensing. The open access point already serves only the latest readings, read-only and rate-limited, with no history export.

What will Panbiota's paid API sell?

Answers. Panbiota's API sells answers, not the underlying assets: AI agents and software pay for specific, sourced and checkable answers, while the engine, the relationships, the history and the discovery behind them stay private to Panbiota. Paid access is in development, and terms are agreed in writing.

AI agents ask the questions.
Panbiota provides the intelligence behind the answers.
